A conserved Bach current
نویسنده
چکیده
The Bach tensor and a vector which generates conformal symmetries allow a conserved 4-current to be defined. The Bach 4-current gives rise to a quasilocal 2-surface expression for power per luminosity distance in the Vaidya exterior of collapsing fluid interiors. This is interpreted in terms of entropy generation. PACS numbers: 0420J, 0440N

The Achievements of the Poison Control Center of Bach Mai Hospital, Vietnam
Last editorial of the Asia Pacific Journal of Medical Toxicology addressed the important role of poison control centers in the improvement of public health (1). In Vietnam, poison control center (PCC) of Bach Mai Hospital has been the only national one for civilians. The establishment and activities of this center can be considered as one of the pioneers in the East Asia. History and setting (2...
متن کاملConserved Matter Superenergy Currents for Orthogonally Transitive Abelian G2 Isometry Groups
In a previous paper we showed that the electromagnetic superenergy tensor, the Chevreton tensor, gives rise to a conserved current when there is a hypersurface orthogonal Killing vector present. In addition, the current is proportional to the Killing vector. The aim of this paper is to extend this result to the case when we have a two-parameter Abelian isometry group that acts orthogonally tran...

We show that solutions of the Bach equation exist which are not conformal Einstein spaces. In connection with fourth order gravitational field equations, cf. e.g. [1, 2] where the breaking of conformal invariance was discussed, the original Bach equation, Bij = 0 , (1) enjoys current interest. Eq. (1) stems from a Lagrangian L = 1 2 √ −gCijklC , and variation gives, cf. Bach [3], 1 √−g δL/δg ij...
